In short, I unequivocally recommend him.
I’ve been going to Dr Siegal for over a decade now. I can’t speak highly enough about him or his staff. The Doctor himself is caring, friendly, professional and takes his time with patients. More importantly he’s a perfectionist. I’ve had both crowns and fillings done and in all cases he’s taken care to make sure everything fits and matches perfectly. On occasion, when things don’t feel quite right (which happens with new dental work @David B.), he’s happy to fit me in to do a quick adjustment and/or file. In short, it’s clear that he wants everything to be perfect and he’ll deliver on it.
Furthermore his staff is a joy; friendly and inviting (love Debra). Before going to Dr. Siegal I thought that having teeth cleaned was one of those things that just always hurt. They scrape, poke and make your gums bleed. I’d have it done every 6 months but it was something I just assumed it was an uncomfortable thing. Since going to Dr. Siegal’s hygienists I now realize that teeth can be cleaned well with very little discomfort. They use mostly a fancy water pick and then just a little scraping. I know it’s done well becuase Dr. Siegal then inspects their work and has on occasion made them clean up better.

I have been going to Dr. Seigal for 3 years! He is fantastic. He and his staff are extremely kind and friendly. He filled numerous cavities and replaced my terrible crowns with very real looking porcelain crowns. I could not be happier. I think the best part of a visit to Dr. Siegal’s office is sitting in the hygienist’s chair. How often do you find that in a dentist’s office?

I cannot recommend Dr. Siegal highly enough.
I have been going to Dr. Siegal since the mid-90’s when I returned to NYC. I no longer experience that ‘ugh, I have to go to the dentist’ feeling I’d had for so many years previously. Everyone in the office is welcoming. His hygienists are gentle but thorough and my teeth and gums look great. I haven’t needed anything other than routine checkups in almost 20 years which I can attribute to the fine care I receive every 6 months.

I have been going to this dentist for going on thirty years
John Siegal is a great dentist with an excellent aesthetic eye. He fixed two discolored front teeth into “natural wonders.” His staff is great too–most have been there for a long time, are friendly, intelligent, seem to like their job and their boss.
Best of all, they call a day or two in advance to remind you of your appointment, something which you can “forget” if you aren’t keen on seeing the dentist. They are often booked weeks in advance, but will work with you to schedule an appt. at a good time.

John did really great job for me. I was NYU student when I started having problems with my back teeth. First I went to NYU student dentist and it was the worst experience I have ever had they wanted to do root canals on 3 of my teeth and charge $10k. I was desperate. Luckily, one of my friends recommended Dr. Siegal. It was like a dream come true. He took x-rays and told me that there is a chance he can avoid root canals which he successfully accomplished. If not for John I would simply pull my teeth out because I would not be able to afford 3 root canals.
